February 2024 Reading Recap

Well, another month has passed, so that means it’s time to take a look at where I’m at and where I’m going. Let’s start with the updated books completed total: 11! That’s right, as of February 29, 2024 (I love Leap Day!), I have completed 11 out of 100 books.

Old Possum’s Book of Practicals Cats was a new purchase this month while Assistant to the Villain was an audiobook I listened to via Libby.

In my defense… Okay, I don’t really have a good defense for this one. I guess I should be glad that my total for these was $87, but I way over did it this month.
1. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass
2. The Secret Garden
3. A Christmas Carol
4. Agnes Grey
5. Everyone in my Family Has Killed Someone
6. Burn After Writing
7. We’ll Always Have Summer
8. The Strays
9. The Escape Room
10. Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats

So how do I feel about February? Honestly, my progress has been a little slower than I had hoped, but I’m really enjoying the range of things I’ve been reading, especially working in a few quick reads with some poetry. I am really loving the idea of writing more, which I hope to ramp up in March.

As always, stay tuned for more book reviews and hopefully some short stories over the next few weeks. You can follow along on my instagram and find a running list of books so far on the blog. The list of books also includes links to purchase any of these books on Amazon if they sound like must-reads to you!
